2008 & 2009 SPEAK Test Schedule

Although the SPEAK is administered each semester at UIUC, all new prospective ITAs are encouraged to take the TSE or the TOEFL iBT before arriving on campus.

Fall 2008 SPEAK Test

1st Time Takers ONLY: September 29 and September 30

Retakes ONLY: October 27

Test Location: G-8 FLB

NOTE: Registration for the Fall SPEAK is currently being accepted. Departments register their graduate students for this test; individual students cannot register themselves.

Spring 2009 SPEAK Test

1st Time Takers ONLY: February 23 and 24

Retakes ONLY: April 2
