Adobe ColdFusion 8

Adobe ColdFusion 8, Level 1

ColdFusion is an Internet technology used for the development of dynamic web pages (web pages that can display or manipulate information from databases or other sources), utilizing ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML). In this workshop we'll use Dreamweaver and CFML to add dynamic text and forms to web pages, validate form data, collect results, pass data from one page to another, create a dynamic site structure, add RSS fees to a page, generate PDF output, and much more.

Macintosh User Note:  Due to hardware and budget limitations, for this workshop we're limited to using Dreamweaver and ColdFusion on Windows computers.  However, Macintosh users will find the Windows version of Dreamweaver and ColdFusion to be nearly identical to the Mac-native version. We've included a separate Mac User registration code to track interest in a possible future Mac-native offering.

Adobe ColdFusion 8, Level 2

We are strongly considering adding a ColdFusion 8 Level 2 workshop to our offerings starting with the spring 2009 term.  The workshop will be taught using Dreamweaver CS3's support of ColdFusion pages, so some experience with Dreamweaver will be a prerequisite -- at least the Dreamweaver Level 1 workshop, or equivalent knowledge.

A proposed workshop outline will be posted here within a few weeks.

If you'd would be interested in more ColdFusion workshops, have general comments about such offerings, or would like to be notified when we have more information available, please contact us using our contact form.
