The Center for Teaching Excellence is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and assessing teaching effectiveness and student learning.

To accomplish this mission, the Center provides resources, services, and programs to:

Assist faculty and teaching assistants in their professional development as educators Promote a community of teacher-scholars wherein the theory and practice of teaching and learning are shared Help instructors and academic units to develop, implement, and assess instructional approaches, methods, and delivery Foster innovations in college teaching Evaluate teaching effectiveness and student learning
